The BLCP Power Station's Monthly Air Quality Report for June 2569, based on continuous emissions monitoring system (CEMS) measurements from the stack, indicates that all parameters were within the specified standard limits, complying with both Thai law and EIA requirements, thereby confirming the safety of the power plant's operations for public health.
Measured values for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) were below the Thai legal standard of "≤120 mg/m³@7%O2" and the EIA requirement of "≤43 mg/m³@7%O2". Similarly, Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) levels were below the Thai legal standard of "≤320 ppmvd@7%O2" and the EIA requirement of "≤262 ppmvd@7%O2". Furthermore, Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) levels were also below the Thai legal standard of "≤350 ppmvd@7%O2" and the EIA requirement of "≤241 ppmvd@7%O2".
The ambient air quality report for June 2569, derived from the 4 Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS) situated around the BLCP Power Station, also indicated that all measured parameters were "within safe limits" for public health.
Ambient measurements for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) were below the Thai legal standard of "≤200 µg/m³" (24-hour average), and Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) was also below the Thai legal standard of "≤100 µg/m³" (24-hour average).
Ambient Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) levels were below the Thai legal standard of "≤100 ppb" (1-hour maximum value), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) levels were also below the Thai legal standard of "≤120 ppb" (1-hour maximum value). All four monitoring stations, specifically Wat Takuan, Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood, consistently reported good air quality.
BLCP Power Station employs clean coal technologies, including Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems, alongside 24-hour air quality monitoring and continuous reporting of results to government agencies and the community.
