BLCP uses modern Clean Coal Technology with strict pollution control systems to remain environmentally friendly.
Strict pollution control includes ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator) for dust and FGD (Flue Gas Desulfurization) for sulfur dioxide.
BLCP uses high-quality bituminous coal imported from Australia, with an average sulfur content of 0.45% per year.
Environmental Management
The plant strictly follows environmental standards with 4 air quality monitoring stations, modern wastewater treatment, and beneficial reuse of coal ash.
4 AQMS air monitoring stations surround the plant, plus a CEMS stack monitoring system, with regular reporting to government agencies.
All coal ash is sold to the cement industry as a raw material — none is landfilled or discarded.
