August 24, 2022 - Ms. Naowarat Kangwankij, Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications Department, BLCP Power Co., Ltd. (BLCP), participated in the award ceremony for the project "Promoting Industrial Factories with Social and Community Responsibility towards Sustainable Development Goals (CSR-DIW to achieve SDGs)" and presented the operational results of the project "Developing and Upgrading Eco-Industrial Towns to Environmentally Sustainable Cities for Fiscal Year 2022" at the Royal Jubilee Ballroom, Challenger Building, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province.

 

The company received the awardCSR-DIW Continuous Award 2022 from the Department of Industrial Works for the 13th consecutive year. This honorable and valuable award ispresented to establishments that prioritize, recognize, promote, support, and fully comply with the standards of industrial operators' social responsibility (Corporate Social Responsibility: CSR). Mr. Kobchai Sungsitthisawad, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, along with Mr. Wanchai Phanomchai, Director-General of the Department of Industrial Works, graciously presented the award.

 

 

BLCP Power Station has participated in signing the Memorandum of Agreement for the project supporting socially responsible operators (CSR-DIW) under the supervision of the Department of Industrial Works (DIW) since 2009. The company has received the CSR-DIW Continuous Award every year, demonstrating its genuine commitment to maintaining standards in social responsibility
of the organization (CSR), in line with the ESG concept which considers three main areas of responsibility: Environment, Social, and Governance, in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
