Raised Vegetable Bed Project

BLCP Power Station has continuously collaborated with the community to develop the Sufficiency Economy Organic Agriculture Project. As a result, the Khod Hin-Khao Phai Organic Agriculture Community Enterprise is now able to independently lead the transfer of knowledge from community to community. This initiative involves using a chemical-free potting soil formula, developed from the group's local wisdom, to cultivate vegetables in the plots of Khod Hin Mittraphap Community. The project is led by Mr. Narong Klaoklong, Community President, and community members.

Harvesting for sale commenced in November 2564 and has continued to the present. The "raised bed" cultivation method, which is easy to maintain, prevents diseases, weeds, and pests originating from the ground. This method also contributes to farmers' improved health by eliminating the need to bend during cultivation. Consequently, it yields produce of good quantity and quality, reduces expenses, generates income, and promotes better health through the consumption of chemical-free vegetables.
