Responsibility
  • Draft and provide legal opinions on business contracts, transactions, projects, and other legal documents related to business activities.
  • Support to business teams on corporate, contract, and general legal matters, including data privacy and compliance issues.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and developments, ensuring timely implementation of new legal requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Prepare compliance reports for management. Develop and implement the company’s compliance framework.
  • Coordinate corporate matters and corporate secretary duties, including organizing meetings, maintaining records, and handling company registrations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to develop strategic solutions for legal issues or disputes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus).
  • 2-3 years experience in legal and compliance matters effectively.
  • Proven experience in legal advisory roles, preferably in the energy or power sector.
  • Understanding of corporate and compliance matters, including data privacy and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • TOEIC score of 700+ or equivalent to demonstrate English competency.
