Mangrove Forest Planting 5 Years Plan - BLCP had been cooperated with Rayong Municipality, Rayong River Conservationists, Small boat fishermen and Rayong Coastal Research and Development Center, total 12 organizations to develop the mangrove forest at 280 rais around Prajedeeklangnam, Rayong. ''The most effective conservation method is to make villagers living near the mangroves realise their conservation efforts will eventually increase their income,'' Mangrove forests also provide breeding grounds for marine animals and are a major source of charcoal.
